Vampires are celestial creatures and a byproduct of the Cosmogenesis. They were created alongside the Noble Gods to be their caretaker and are creatures made of pure Chroma.
After the Shattering, the vampires who once were mindless servants of the gods, were made to know freedom by the Voices. Some of them continued to serve the gods, but most became eternal enemies of them.
After centuries, the minds of the vampires have deteriorated, and most of them do not recall anything of the ages past.
