The Noble Gods were created by the Voices during the Intonation of Divinity. They are also called The Progenitors, The Irrefutables and The Children of the Zenith.
They are the progenitors of the human and humanoid races, the first beings with a sense of conscience and individualism. Some even call them the first mortals, even though is unclear if the Noble Gods can die.
History
After their creation the noble gods roamed the earth and gave birth to the first humans and humanoids. The first children fo the Noble Gods are known as Prime Demigods and even if they were children of two gods, they did not retain their full divine powers.
Cosmic Age
The Noble Gods where created at the end of the Cosmic Age and their birth, known as Intonation of Divinity, marks the beginning of the Divine Age.
Divine Age
During the Divine Age the noble Gods divided themselves in multiple Pantheons and for centuries ruled their children from the Divine Cities.
During this period all the humanoids where Demigods, they were few in number due to the fact that their lives could extend for many centuries before being Stonestruck.

Age of Defiance
After the Defiance, in an event known as Admonition the Aspects of the Gods were sealed under the Tower of Signatures by Arthe, which remained the only God with an aspect. During this period Arthe remained inside the Temple of Chains at the top of the Tower of Signatures in order to keep the other gods from freeing their aspects.
This imprisonment of the Noble Gods lasted until Sinless Night, when the chains where broken.
