For centuries the ardals have been a warriors people, whose riches were due to their use of acting as mercenaries for other countries. It is not uncommon for the ardals to fight against one another on different sides of a war between two other countries.
They are usually a very patriotic and loyal people, with a strong sense of duty and do not hold grudges.
